Here we are again, another outfit post. But this time its funnnkkyy and a better representation of my style than my last post. I like to mix and match the wide variety of pieces in my closet. While I get ready, it is a fun challenge for me to take random clothing in my closet and put them together in an unexpected and different way. Just ask my roommate who has to deal with me putting on ten completely different outfits before we go out.
You have to wear layers pretty much anywhere you are in the city in the winter. Could I have picked warmer layers? Sure. Would it come at a cost to the outfit? Yes.
And yes, the John Lennon style sunglasses were not a coincidence and I hoped it would compliment the tee shirt add an even more 70's rock vibe to this look.
This leather jacket was a super last minute addition to this outfit but thats the best part about it. You can throw on a leather jacket to almost any look and it looks more put together.
I threw on one of my fav Led Zeppelin tees because I wanted to put a spin on the typical "business style" top that would be paired with these trousers. (Yes I listen to Led Zeppelin before you come at me)
Lastly, the mesh bodysuit underneath. I love how this looks because its a bit of a turtle neck so that pops out of the tee at the top. I would highly recommend getting a mesh bodysuit because you can wear them 483847 different ways.
THESE PANTS. I found them on sale at Zara for no joke $20. I patted myself on the back for finding such a good sale, bought them and left.
Now for the shoes (heart eye emoji). These took a lot of time and a lot of blood to break in because they are patent leather, but these shiny docs have quickly become a staple in my closet.
This picture shoes the mesh bodysuit better and how much in stands out against the band tee and the leather jacket.
Also they are sold out of this tee everywhere so I apologize for that.
AS ALWAYS, go follow my homie Carter Whitaker: @Carter.831 for more dope shots.
